The BRIDAL SHOWER (prvate shower) + Mummy's Birthday + IRON MAN

Saturday 3rd May

It's my Mum's birthday today (& Mother's Day next week... BBQ! YIPPEEE!!) Bought her gift, its sumthg she's been wanting for sometime :) Had Mendaki in the morn, and then we (a few of the tutors + myself) went for lunch @ fork & spoon. It was a treat from my HT (*thank you* Yani & err.. Faizal for the drink) ... hmmmm... and we spent the next few mos gossiping.. something happened earlier during the day involving me & another tutor, it was quite an unpleasant experience.. Some ppl need to grow up... oh well... I wasn't scarred but the experience. But it left me feeling sad and empty for her.. I wonder what it's like to be her. It was a surprise really, I just wish her well. On a much much more brighter note; I like my new Mendaki centre. Me thinks the ppl there are really nice & cool! ;) (err... save for some)

Anyway :)

I went for Renee's Bridal shower aft that. Was supposed to do it with Su, but her Darling got a last min emergency involving blood & his tonsils... Poor Su actually stayed up the whole nyte with him... Sigh... The sacrifices that one do in the name of love :) oh wait, where waas I... Ah yes, Renee's Bridal Shower. Well, i've a few words to describe it... but i will just use one, FANTABULOUS!!! The things that her friends did for her.. I only stayed for a portion of it, but I must say that I was impressed by the things that I saw. I was so touched by the effort they put in. ANd as usual, silly old me forgot to bring a camera to such an important event!!! I MUST NOT FORGET TO BRING MY CAMERA ON THE 17TH!!! Should I write lines to burn it into my memory? (some of my friends will probably think I should.. :D)

I met my Darling aft that, we had dinner at Ah Mei's Cafe.. I must say.. the food and company was not bad... not bad at all.. :) ahem, Darling... Metal bits...

Well, finally had my Mum's birthday celebration aft that. It was fun having everyone together! I never experienced it before... Sigh.. I think mum must be very happy on that day... And I think our presents had little to do with it..

Sunday 4th May

OH, and we prepared breakfast for her aftwards.. Me handling the desserts and to prevent food poisoning, my Dearest younger sister was deployed to do the cooking(Fira, you are the best youngest sister I've ever had.. hahaha).
Too bad I'd to rush aft that...
Went to watch IronMan aft that... Sigh.. I Love IT!!!! Darling, I'm sorry.. BUT I LOVE HIM!!! SIGH... His not real...

I'll be seeing you soon.. Actually I'm dreaming about you already. Thanks to my Darling Friend (way to go, Azack!!) for going thru all the trouble to make my virgin trip to visit you a memorable one.. hahaha.. InsyaAllah it'll be.. Thank You Mum & Dad for trusting* me enough to let me go on my own!! :) Sigh.. Can't wait... (Sarling, Sita Swill Smiss Syou Stoo! see see...)

Hmmmm..
Whatever happened to me? Nothing much really.. I'd oral testing today. Ever tried imagining what its like testing 60 odd kids ranging from 6+ to 11+, their spokenmalay? Let me tell you something, it's horrible!!! Not only was the weather not cooperating, the kids usage of "nahu"(which is grammar for those non-malay speaking ppl out there) is terrible, their malay vocab is interchangeable with words from the Oxford Dictionary(gives a whole new meaning to being a bilingual!!!) BUT, i have to help these kids, how do one propose doing that? By being utterly LENIENT!! Can you guess how many of these BI-LING-UAL kids did well today? Well almost 3/4.. oh well... And Someone came in the midst of it all (i was in the middle of testing a P5 boy)
This was how the convesation went:
Person A: Redha did you teach your kids the 3-parts to oral?
Redha: (pauses and signals to poor kid in front to stop) Errr... Yes, i did. What's the matter? Is it really important?
Person A: Weeellllll.... your kids didn't know the difference between the 3.
Redha: Oh! (pauses to think.... should it matter?)
Person A: But, its alright... Only 2 of them did that.. they couldn't answer my question.
Let me stop right here and point out that it doesn't matter if the kids don't know the difference between the 3 sections, what matters is for the teacher to make them understand the Supposed Qn, ANd PROMPT!
Oh Well...

Ties were broken..

Bills were discovered...

Those same bills were paid...

Azack's long distance call from Bangkok cost her $17... ( for the record, i'm glad she called me that day, i really needed her *muackz* THANX, Az :))

-which reminds me that my Darling has yet to tell me how much he had to pay for calling & sms-ing during my 3days in Pahang.. *HUGS* tHAnX cHOOOooo :)

okay... so good bye 2007..
you will be remembered for all your fond memories & your not so fond ones... haha.. oh well :)

Three Weddings & A Funeral

WELLL...

My 3 Friends from JC had tied the knot during the last few months... Firstly Khatijah (30th Sept) followed by Yenny (2nd Dec) and finally.... Norazela (9th Dec).... all looked very radiant and gorgeous on their Special Day.. playing the role of the blushing brides that they are... CONGRATULATIONS DEARS + YOUR RESPECTIVE OTHER HALVES.. May ALLAH Grace your reunions with HIS Blessings.. (AMIN) ('o,')

All these weddings amongst friends makes one look back and reminisce about all those times one go thru before getting to the present.. all those memories.. the good and the bad... the laughters and the tears.. the aces and the failures... my regrets and achievements... falling in and out love.... Well.. haha wat a long list right? well... i'm just saying that i'm glad i've got good friends to go thru this journey with... I owe u guys for helping me grow.. no matter if its yanking me upright or if its by gently & lovingly advising me.. (ha ha) it's still guiding... ;) i juz hope i'd done the same for you ......

Well, on a much more sombre note (depends on how you look @ it)

A close friend of mine suffered the death of a loved-one in the family...

I went to teach my cuz tuition today and spoke to my Dear Grandma... She teared up when she reminded me this... To give a gift of Al-Fatihah after each prayer for my late grandpa...

something I've forgotten to do in a long long time...

well... To that particular friend (i hope u are alright) and to all of you out there s well (who are nice enough to read what i've written so far) lets take moment to remember them; the faithful departed -Al Fatihah...
